ipod idestruction iart

iPod > iDestruction > iArt?

Art cool enough to justify destruction of iPods? I think so.

Cnet alerted me this morning to an artist who goes by the moniker of

[dNASAb], who is exhibiting his iPod art at a Williamsburg gallery.

The iPods are displayed "in various states of deconstruction" with

appropriate videos playing on their screens.

Curious, I Googled, and found a Reuters video feature about the

installation. I agree with one of the last commentators that the work

doesn't seem particularly deep or meaningful--at least it's difficult

to detect such qualities from this distance--but it's definitely

interesting and pretty to look at.

For more photos of his work, check out the artist's blog.
