dj ipod was on fire today

DJ iPod was on FIRE today!

I had a really bad day yesterday. For some reason I was just feeling

really blah, very uninspired, and just generally unhappy. On top of

that, Grey's Anatomy was a re-run. grrrrr. Luckily, Mean Girls was on

and I had ice cream in the freezer. I love that movie. heee.

So this morning, I dragged my lazy, uninspired, unhappy ass out of bed

and had to drive to San Jose for a demo I have this afternoon. I

connected my iPod and just hit "shuffle songs"....I was in the hands

of dj iPod and she did NOT disappoint. This is what she played for me.

She must have known I'm going to see the fabulous Magic Bullets

tonight and was reminding me of how much I love that record. Good job,

ms. iPod. I commend you.

By the time I made it into work, I was singing along and feeling much

better. I haven't been to many live shows in the past 4 months which

was fine for a while because I was really exhausted from all the

wedding madness. But now, it's depressing me. I NEED MY LIVE MUSIC!!

It fulfills me in a way that nothing else does. It makes me feel alive

and excited and happy. It gets me off my couch - you know what I'm

sayin'? So tonight, I hurl myself back into the craziness of the live
